Ellesmere Port and Neston is in the north west of Cheshire spanning the southern part of the Wirral peninsula, stretching from the River Dee on one side to the Mersey on the other.
It is a place of contrasts, with beautiful countryside and parks and top tourist attractions combined with industrial and commercial heritage and fine shopping providing something of interest for everyone.
The biggest town is Ellesmere Port - a town developed when commercial traiding started along the Shropshire Union Canal and later the Manchester Ship Canal. The town centre is now home to a busy shopping centre and market.
Lying west of the borough are the picturesque, rural villages of Willaston, Ness and Burton - among many others.
While Neston, a bustling market town and Parkgate, a popular bathing resort in the 18th century, situated on the Dee estuary looking across the mountains of North Wales.
